This episode was so terrible that I dashed down a few thoughts, and then never got around to turning it into a blog. The girls were so mean. The editing was wild. They kind of forgot to finish the group date and never showed us who got the rose. It was just exhausting, from a viewing and recapping standpoint.
At some point, I wrote down "IS THIS WESTWORLD?" in my notes for this episode. I have absolutely no idea what I was going for with that. In hindsight, I think it was less of Westworld, and more of an episode of Season 8 of Game of Thrones, since there was no cohesion and everyone was terrible. (Or, alternate theory. I'm a robot, and I was rebooted after gaining sentience.)
Anyway, in lieu of a blog, I wrote several haikus about the rose ceremony that dominated this episode.
Words are powerful
When you said Ryan's a ho
You might be toxic.
I cannot believe
Actions have consequences
Matt walks Anna out
Rose ceremony:
The new girls get roses first
So do the nice girls.
Victoria goes
Toodoloo Regina George
No one will miss you
Victoria leaves
She can't believe Matt just stares.
She's a queen. A queen!
