LOOK! I'M OVER HERE

Anyone who's talked to me has probably realized that I have a lot of thoughts. Anyone who's talked to me a little bit longer has probably realized that I have a lot of thoughts and no hobbies. Ergo, this new blog. My new vanity project, disguised as a hobby.

There are several things I am passionate about, but none of them seems to fall into the "respectable hobby" bucket. For example if someone asks me what I did last weekend, I'm not going to be able to say, "I watched fifteen episodes of Love Island Australia instead of studying for my final actuarial exam that is next week," without feeling some amount of inner guilt and shame. However, if I could instead say, "I have a blog and I spent the weekend researching and producing new content," I think that would sound much better.

Much like my inner monologue and most of my actual conversations, this blog has no real cohesion, and will be about the following:

Royalty-Themed Holiday Movies (and any other made-for-tv movie I choose to consume)

Vacation Planning

Taylor Swift

My Cats

Structure stresses me out, so I will update when I feel about it, and write about whatever I want. Maybe I'll add a category for puns. Maybe I'll wake up one day and write a deep post about all the exams I've failed, and the lessons learned (to be clear, one of these lessons will NOT be, "don't binge watch Love Island the weekend before your exam"). Who the heck knows?!
